New Banana - new features

New Banana Scrum version released tonight brings new features, some of which have been suggested by our users:

  • more complete Scrum support with a registry of impediments in each sprint - those can be edited and closed by team and Scrum Master,
  • ideal burndown - a light-blue line on the burndown chart indicating the ideal burndown for quick visual feedback on how well the team is doing,
  • improved tag handling with ability to set tags on an item at creation time,
  • various usability enhancements including better validators for in-place editors, putting the coursor where it should be for smooth editing of new items and a refresh button on the product backlog to ease collaboration.


We continue to work on Banana Scrum to make it the best on-line tool for Scrum practicing development teams. We are currently doing another sprint and the next release of the tool will be on Friday afternoon EST.
